1. Lightin

The Marginata plants thrive well in areas with bright sunlight. Exposure to full sunlight enables the plant to grow faster and have a strong vigor. Plants that grow in areas with low supply of light tend to grow at a slower rate and have small leaves.

2. Media

The most recommended media is loam soil mixed with peat moss. Ensure the containers or pots have enough space to support the plants’ roots. During planting, place the media in a container of your choice, add the media, dig a hole using your hands and place the plants in the holes. Finally cover the plant roots gently.

3. Irrigation

Add water to the media after the topmost soil is dry. The moment the tips of the leaves start turning brown, it is a sign of excess water. If they turn yellow, it indicates less water provision. You can add fertilizer though not necessary. However, avoid fluoridated water.

4. Pruning

Prune according to your preference. If you desire a bushy but shorter plant, trim the leaves.
