Peace lilies are also known as Spathiphyllum Walisii, are great candidates for office settings and indoor living environments.  Easy to care and long lasting  Peace lily plants are originated from the rainforests of Central and South America and therefore love bright spaces such as office  and living rooms that are similar to their native environment.  Peace lilies grow 18-24 inches long and produce elongated green leaves with Arum-shaped white and fragrant flowers towering over the leaves like a white flag, giving peace lily plant its unique name. All parts of peace lilies are poisonous if ingested therefore peace lilies should be kept away from children and pets.

Temperature: Classic peace lilies grow best in temperature, ranging from 65 to 80 Fahrenheit, which makes peace lilies easy to care for in an office or household settings.  They can’t survive if the temperature drops below 55 Fahrenheit.

Light: Peace lilies do well in semi shades during summertime; however peace lilies need more light during winter. Peace lilies are most likely to blossom when they receives sufficient sunlight.  Keep away from direct sunlight which can cause damage to the leaves.

Water: Peace lilies require moist soil at all times, so the need moderate amount of watering on a consistent basis.

Repotting: It is recommended to repot your classic peace lily plant every spring.
